Recruitment into the Fatuiīefore she could be fully devoured by her own flames, Pierro found her and decided to make her an ally. Although she only burned monsters and demons, she became feared by the people. ![]() She was rumored to have abandoned her mortal body and instead let liquid fire flow through herself with an art that is now lost to history, burning her own face and scarring her body in the process. In her grief and rage, she decided to use "her life's flame" to cleanse "the world's crookedness," becoming the Crimson Witch of Flame. When she returned, she learned that Rostam had died in battle against the monsters. The cataclysm struck while she was in Sumeru. She was likely an apprentice studying Pyro magic there, though what means she used to harness Pyro is unknown. She was accepted into Sumeru Akademiya and shortly before she left for her studies, Rostam gave her a special hydro-timepiece to keep track of the amount of time she would be away. As a maiden, she loved to sing and eventually fell in mutual love with Rostam. Her origins are unknown, but she lived in Mondstadt roughly 500 years ago. She is seen with what appears to be a Catalyst hovering behind her right shoulder. She wears a black earring on her left ear and a black mask that covers her right eye. Some of her hair is tied into two rose-shaped buns at the back of her head. Signora is a tall woman with pale skin, platinum-blonde hair, and light gray eyes. Signora also describes those harmed by her actions in the story as "necessary sacrifices" and "nobodies." Her relationship with the other Harbingers is unknown, but she was known to dislike Scaramouche, believing that he was only ranked higher than her due to being a puppet. With the Raiden Shogun, she maintains her professional attitude up until the Shogun prepares to execute Signora for losing her duel against the Traveler.Ĭhilde describes Signora as someone who considers the consequences of her actions yet also mentions that she uses lethal force against new Fatui. In her interactions with Zhongli and the Raiden Shogun, where she was serving as a Snezhnayan diplomat, Signora displays a professional attitude. Signora loses her composure then: she attempts to stop the Shogun using her status as a diplomat, then with threats, and finally making a last-ditch attempt to lunge at the Shogun. Signora's confidence was ultimately her undoing, as she lost to the Traveler and was executed by the Raiden Shogun as per the rules of the duel. In Inazuma, she confidently accepts the Traveler's challenge to a duel before the throne, where the loser is executed. When the Traveler encounters her in Liyue, Signora taunts them about their aforementioned failure to protect Barbatos. Later, when she finally faces off against the Traveler and Barbatos, she calls Barbatos a "rodent ruler" and takes his Gnosis. Later on, as the Crimson Witch of Flame, she went off on a self-sacrificial journey to fight monsters. Not much is known about her life prior to the cataclysm, but she did have a lover, Rostam. ![]() ![]() PersonalityĪs one of the enigmatic Fatui Harbingers, Signora has a degree of mystery to her. Signora wields a Cryo Delusion and can also use fire-based powers. As a Fatui Harbinger, Signora possesses great power, both in combat and in diplomatic relations. ![]()
